Free

Consultations take place at the space the client is looking to redecorate/remodel, and it's completely free! This gives you the opportunity to meet me, speak with me, and hear my ideas and impressions of your space before committing to hire me! I also do it because this initial meeting can sometimes take quite a while without anything really being done. It's more about me exploring the space, hearing my clients needs, and usually lots of lists. At this initial meeting it's really helpful if the client has pictures, a Pinterest board, or some sort of examples to show me what they're envisioning. Some people's ideas of what "modern" means can differ, for example, so having something to look at ensures we are on the same page!

$75/hour

The bulk of my work falls under this category. At the initial consultation we will discuss estimated time frames, limitations, and budgets. I create time clock spreadsheets for my clients to view at any time to help keep you in the loop.

$50/hour

Were you wishing that someone with some expertise could just ride along with you as you search for your home decor or furniture? Your wish has come true! This shopping rate is for any time a client and I go shopping together.

You might be asking "How does an hourly rate work for design work?" It's extremely important to me to cater to the individual needs of each of my clients - the flexibility in job size I mentioned is part of that. This means that I can't simply offer packages in lump sums because it's not a one size fits all thing. Instead I am constantly adapting to what your needs are. I act as a sidekick when I'm assisting on certain choices, I'm a guiding hand in helping you visualize the big picture, I'm a job coordinator when I'm handling the "when"s and "what"s, and I'm a middleman when I deal with the other contractors on the job for you. There are a lot of hats I can wear, but what hat I wear for you and for how long changes. An hourly rate allows me to essentially clock in before beginning a new task and clock out immediately after - whether I was arranging days for contractors to arrive or going through your choices on flooring. For some, this flexibility means that although I'm available for the whole project, I'm not necessarily involved in every step. An hourly rate means they won't pay as much as the client who wants me involved every step of the way!

What Sets Me Apart

Adaptive Services

Whether your job is big or small, or you want to knock out sections at a time or do it all at once, whether you need more firm guidance and suggestions or just some reassurance, I can help you.

Knowledge and Connections

Growing up in the flooring industry then moving to work in stone countertops for 5 years taught me a lot about two of the more expensive home improvement industries. They have given me the knowledge needed to better guide you in making good choices in these areas from technical and financial perspectives. These experiences combined with my being a Greenville native involved heavily in my community means I have built up a number of connections with other local business owners that you may need in your renovation project!

Dedication to YOUR wants/needs

My job is all about delivering what you want - even if you're not sure what that is! It's not about what I like, or what's trendy - unless that's what you want!
